This replacement camshaft sprocket fits 83 CJ5, 83-86 CJ7 / CJ8 Scrambler, 84-01 Cherokee XJ, 84-87 J-Series Trucks, 86-92 Comanche MJ, 87-95 Wrangler YJ and 97-02 Wrangler TJ models equipped with 2.5 liter engines. For complete timing kit, use 17452.03. Replaces OE 3242280

Timing chains stretch over time. If left untouched; they can begin jumping teeth on the camshaft and crankshaft sprockets. This will change your timing and will do major damage to your Jeep s engine. It is recommended that you change the timing chain and sprockets together for the best fit.
