From mounting cargo boxes and rooftop tents, to kayaks and bikes, it's about strength and flexibility. When fully assembled, the cross-rail system is rated to support 600-pounds static load / 300-pounds dynamic load with the weight evenly distributed. Go Rhino XRS Cross Bars include four corner uprights constructed of 3/16" thick seven gauge steel, interlocked and Mig welded for extreme durability and strength, zinc plated and finished with a textured black powder coating for lasting protection from the elements. Each of the four corner uprights have cleverly integrated additional tie down locations and a 1/4-20 threaded rivet nut installed on the outside for use with a Quick Fist(R) mount or equivalent. The XRS Cross Bars feature a basic no-drill, clamp-on installation. Each upright will attach to a vehicle's factory track / rail system if so equipped, or will clamp to the factory bed itself. Brackets and hardware are supplied for both options. The corner uprights elevate and support the cross bars approximately six inches above the factory bed cap which provides for unobstructed access to the truck bed, and for mounting tents and cargo boxes below the cab to reduce wind resistance. Every XRS comes with two exclusive Go Rhino 4-CORE extruded aluminum cross bars. Each 4-CORE cross bar works with standard 1/4-20 hex head bolts which can be installed on all four sides of the cross bar and can slide from side to side of the bar, allowing accessory mounting brackets to be mounted anywhere along the bars. The 4-Core bars are finished with a black textured powder coating and capped with a 3/16" thick seven-gauge steel plate. All XRS Series products are made in North America and are covered by Go Rhino's industry leading 5-year limited warranty.
