Momentum’s innovative filter-to-housing interface was built to feature the largest air filter possible. This 6 IN tall 360-degree radial flow air filter features a 4-1/2 IN flange and our pre-oiled Pro 5R media with five layers of progressively finer cotton gauze media for maximum performance. It provides your engine with the largest amount of high-flowing air and delivers the highest power gains in most cases. This media is perfect for street and/or track use. Its inverted top makes for more filter surface area, resulting in longer service intervals. The sealed heat-resistant housing, constructed of cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE), features our patent-pending filter-to-housing interface and a clear sight window that allows for hassle-free filter inspection. An aluminum heat shield panel on the side of the housing deflects hot air emitted from the turbocharger, ensuring the system’s two air inlets bring in the coolest air possible. In addition to the massive auxiliary air inlet, this intake utilizes the vehicle’s OE air inlet with no additional hardware. Stainless-steel clamps and a silicone coupler are included for strength and durability. Momentum GT’s innovative filter-to-housing design minimizes the total number of parts, making for a fast and easy installation.
