We have had custom made a batch of high temperature 6061 aluminum spacers for the 6G72 DOHC engine found in the Dodge Stealth, 3000GT, both turbo and non turbo. They are CNC milled from sheets of aluminum for accurate fit. It is 1/4" thick.

These will not melt like cheaper plastic spacers. This are cut to the exact dimensions of the stock gasket, so you can be sure they will fit properly.

Benefits of a spacer for your 3/S include:

1)Allows installation of short runner intake manifolds that may not otherwise clear the valve covers.

2)Allows installation of certain coil on plug kits, like our own kit. (instruction preview here: 3000GT / Dodge Stealth Coil On Plug Kit Installation and FAQ)

Kit includes all new stainless bolts and washers, along with optional intake manifold gaskets (2). Note bolts are longer than stock for more thread engagement, which helps prevent stripped the threads. The first time you install them you may find it takes a little more effort until the threads are chased by the bolts, since some of the threads have not been used before.

You will want to remove the stock studs on the left and right of the plenum.

Notes:

If you have extremely tight clearance to your hood, such as an aftermarket hood or a 6G74 based engine with a taller deck height you will want to be sure your plenum will clear your hood. You will also either have to remove the rear plenum stays or oval the bolt holes to continue using them. We always just remove them as they are not needed. If you maintain your egr system you may have to modify the EGR tube.
