No one likes a transmission that grinds and all the power in the world is no fun if you can’t shift!

The transmission synchronizers for 1st and 2nd gear in the 3000GT VR4 or Dodge Stealth R/T turbo AWD cars can often experience a lot of wear, which will lead to slow shifting and even grinding. Its best to replace your synchros before you are grinding often or you are causing much more expensive damage to your gears and sliders. Many gears are no longer available and if you damage them from grinding you may not be able to find replacements. You can even break your shift forks from the hard shifting.

We developed this kit to include either a stock sintered bronze material synchro or a carbon one, depending on your choice, both axle seals in a high quality aftermarket seal, and a high quality output shaft seal. Please select whether you want 18 spline, 25 spline, or both output shaft seals. Generally 91-92 cars are 18 spline and 93+ are 25 spline, but you cannot count on it. We include the output shaft seal because it is very prone to leaking as it is submerged in transmission fluid all the time and they are also very hard, if not impossible, to replace while the transmission is installed.

This kit will work for both the 5 and 6 Speed Getrag AWD transmissions in the 3/S turbo cars.
